Any Questions?

We understand that there is a lot of useless and complicated information out there, so here are a few of our most asked questions.

Building automation systems aka building management systems (BMS) or building energy management systems (BEMS) is a control system that can be used to monitor and manage the mechanical, electrical and electromechanical services in a facility. Such services can include power, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, physical access control, pumping stations, elevators and lights.

Cost is a relative thing. It all depends on building size, usage, condition, occupancy etc. However even the smallest positive changes can have a dramatic impact on your carbon footprint and thereby reducing energy costs. Get in touch to see how we can help.

Put simply it is not a legal requirement to maintain your BMS. Lots of companies pressure their clients into service contracts but this isn’t our policy at NovaTech Controls Ltd. There are obvious benefits however to proper maintenance of a controls system. We regularly calibrated field sensor to ensure accurate readings and control. We test each input and output on the controls. Software interrogation and updates allow continuous improvements to the HVAC plant.
